The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu, ‘Dullar’, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he marks his second year in office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Owolabi Oseni Ajimomuiya, Hon. Dullar hailed President Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to transformational leadership that has consistently underscored the power of grassroots governance.
“As a visionary leader who once served as Governor of Lagos State, President Tinubu’s policies institutionalized local governance, empowered communities, and laid the framework that many of us at the grassroots continue to build upon,” Hon. Dullar noted.
The council chairman highlighted how Somolu Local Government has drawn immense inspiration from the President’s exemplary legacy. “Our visible strides in infrastructure renewal, youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and social welfare are direct reflections of the solid foundation you established through community-first governance,” he said.
He added that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has rekindled optimism across the nation, with tangible impacts felt in Somolu. “Through targeted economic reforms, fiscal support, and renewed attention to subnational development needs, your administration’s deliberate efforts toward inclusive governance continue to resonate in our policies and programmes,” he stated.
Hon. Dullar further described President Tinubu’s steadfast commitment to equity, justice, and people-centered leadership as the major factors that inspire the local council’s daily work.
In his closing remarks, the Agba-Akin of Agboyi-Kingdom reaffirmed his unflinching support for President Tinubu’s administration and prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success for the President and the nation.
