It was a day of joy, gratitude, and celebration as Mr. Akinade Adesina, a prominent community figure, poured encomiums on his beloved wife, Mrs Oluwakemi Akinade while marking her 60th birthday anniversary. The memorable event, held on Tuesday 20th May 2025, attracted family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers who gathered to honour the celebrant and share in the couple’s enduring journey of love and companionship.
Describing his wife as a “true epitome of womanhood, mother and a wonderful wife,” Mr. Akinade paid glowing tributes to the woman who has stood by him through thick and thin, both in family and life’s pursuits.
“My dear wife, today I celebrate you not only because you turn 60, but because you have spent every marriageable year of those six decades being a pillar of strength, grace, patience, and compassion. You’re an epitome of womanhood, mother and a wonderful wife whose values have held our family together,” Akinade said emotionally while praising his wife.
The Ogo-Oluwa Central Mosque situated on Abiodun street, in Somolu area of the state was a cynosure of all eyes as the Imam, Sheikh Anofi Arikewuyo who anchored the prayer session commended the celebrant for her dedication to cause of the will of Allah coupled with warmth, wisdom, and exemplary character.
In her brief remarks, the celebrant expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and the grace to witness the landmark age surrounded by loved ones.
“I’m deeply humbled by the love and honour shown to me today. I thank God for sustaining me to see this day and I appreciate my dear husband and family for making it so special,” she said.
