The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Leader of Somolu Legislative Arms, Hon. Yomi Oshunkoya, and the Iyaloja of Abraham Adesanya Market, Alhaja Alausa, over the passing of Mrs. Bolanle Osinowo.
The late matriarch, Mrs. Bolanle Osinowo, who was Hon. Oshunkoya’s mother-in-law and Alhaja Alausa’s mother, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the age of 72.
In a statement issued and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Oseni Owolabi Ajimomuiya, Hon. Salawu, who also holds the title of Agba-Akin of Agboyi Kingdom, described the late Mrs. Osinowo as a devoted Christian and mother who dedicated her life to God and the well-being of her children and family.
“The loss of a mother is one of the most painful experiences in life. I encourage Alhaja Alausa and her family to take solace in the beautiful legacy of love, strength, and kindness she left behind,” the statement read.
Hon. Salawu ‘Dullar’, on behalf of his family, the government, and the people of Somolu, sympathized with Alhaja Alausa and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased’s shortcomings and her eternal rest.
“As we mourn this loss, I pray that God grants the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable void,” he added.
Following the announcement of Mrs. Osinowo’s passing, an outpouring of condolences has been received from friends, market associates, and community leaders who recognize her contributions to society. Many have described her as a compassionate woman, a motherly figure, and a source of inspiration to many in the community.
Late Mrs Bolanle Osinowo has since been committed to Mother Earth in her country home, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State according to the family arrangement.
