Ogunbadejo Street in Somolu Local Government Area of Lagos came alive on December 9, 2024, as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to honour the life and legacy of the late Frank Akuffo. The final burial ceremony was hosted by his daughter, Adenana Bekky Osipitan, a Lagos-based Ghanaian-born food entrepreneur, popularly known as Nana in her community.
Frank Akuffo, who passed away at the age of 72, was celebrated as a devoted family man and a caring father. In an emotional tribute, Nana described her late father as a wonderful and selfless individual who made immense sacrifices to ensure the well-being of his family.
“My father was a man who always put his family first. He was caring, hardworking, and did everything possible to provide for us. His legacy of love and commitment will forever remain in our hearts,” she said.
The event saw a large turnout of guests, including business associates, community leaders, and friends of the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, prior to the final burial ceremony in Lagos, the eldest daughter and the family have performed the traditional funeral rites in Ghana, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of the Akuffo family. Music, food, and dance brought a celebratory atmosphere as guests paid their last respects while comforting the grieving family.
