The former Presidential aide to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Social Media influencer, Reno Omokri has warned the Minister of FCT and former Governor of River State, Nyesom Wike to stop exposing his plans to his opponents which could spell doom to his political ambition.
The Nigeria Author and Social critic made this via his X handle (formerly Twitter) where he warned Wike that exposing much of his plans was tantamount to losing the battle to his opponents.
He went further, “Wike puts too much of his cards on the table. If you want to know his plans, just provoke him to give an interview, and he will blab and brag”.
“Keep some things to yourself. Be strategic instead of bombastic. Now, Fubara knows everything you plan to do from watching your interview with Seun Okinbaloye. Thus, he is better placed to forestall you. A lion that makes noise while hunting will catch nothing”.
“As Minister for the Federal Capital Territory, Wike has given more interviews than the Presidential spokesman. Why? A wise man speaks because he has something to say, not because he wants to say something”.
He, however, urged Wike to control his emotions and not allow his opponents to control him noting that too much talk destroyed his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi which alienated him from the then President and his cabinet colleagues.
“Do not repeat history then accuse the history of repeating itself”.
“Where is the profit in losing your peace of mind just give your enemies a piece of your mind so they can use it to steal your peace of mind? Even the interview was unnecessary”.
