As a way of celebrating this year’s International Youth Day, a non-governmental organization; Aid For Drug Addiction Youth Initiative (AFDAYI) has reaffirmed and reasserted its commitment to empowering young people to drive progress and sustainable development in our community.
According to a press release made available to newsmen, the group made it clear that this year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” resonates deeply with its mission statement recognizing the transformative power of digital technologies in shaping the future of our youth, adding that it acknowledged the risks associated with illicit drug use, which can lead to neurological disorders and hinder their potential.
