“When we assessed what he has done in our ward in the last six and the half years since he came to power, we realized he deserves some kudos from the leaders and the Yoruba adage says, ‘Yin-ni-yin-ni, kale se mii’. It’s when you appreciate somebody for what he has done that he will be encouraged to do more. The reason why we’re trying to let the whole world know about his exploit in the Somolu community”.

Ademorin Kuye who has also facilitated meaningful infrastructures in the community.

“There are some streets (Adedoyin and Ofeamada streets) that had not seen repair for more than 30 years but Hon. “Just as we pray for them, we pray the Lord will strengthen us with the able leader, Hon. AbdulRasaq Tajudeen to be able to convince our elective officers so that they can perform better. They’ve all done very well and the people are still expecting more from them and I believe with what we’ve seen. Quality is different from quantity and we appreciate them”.

“For instance, since his emergence six and half years ago, he has rehabilitated 16 roads just in a ward and a lot of projects have been executed in every area in Somolu and he’s the man I will refer to as the ‘Chairman of Infrastructure’. He’s a workaholic, he always talks what other projects that could be executed. He deserves more kudos”. He enthused.

Some of the projects inspected include the ongoing Wright Memorial Primary School project, Ijebutedo Primary Health Centre, the newly completed Olaleye Modern market, the Borehole sunk at Awofeso Street and Opeloyeru Street, and solar street lights erected at various streets which include Shipeolu, Eyo, and Akeju streets.
