Christmas Celebration: Somolu Chief of Staff fetes his constituents in a big way

As a way of putting smiles on the faces of his constituents across the eight wards in the Somolu local government area of the state, the Chief of staff to the Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbduHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, Hon. Folarin Olubiyi popularly known as ‘Coded’ has on 23rd of December, 2023 doled out Christmas palliative which he said will go a long way in alleviating the effect of harsh economic condition as a result of lingering subsidy removal.

‘Coded’ while speaking to Somolu News said the need to delight numerous residents, including the esteemed Leaders Council of Ward C (Ijebutedo) during this festive season became necessary adding that the initiative will not only uplift the spirit of the residents but will also serve as a way giving back to his people in his own little way.

“The welfare of our people is paramount and that is the reason why we’re putting smiles on their faces to make them feel homely, especially at this festive season. They truly deserve every decent and noble treatment meted out to them. We have their interest at heart and we’ll always do this in appreciation of their support at every given time”.

Meanwhile, Hon. Afolarin Olubiyi’s commitment to community well-being extends beyond this festive endeavor. Renowned for his involvement in the hospitality business, active participation in politics, and dedicated initiatives in education and humanitarian work, ‘Coded’ stands out as a multifaceted leader. His contributions include supporting the less privileged within the community and providing educational materials to primary school pupils at the beginning of each school session.
