Dullar loyalist turbaned as Osupa Adinni as Al-Mujeeb Society of Nigeria holds 15th Anniversary.

If the saying that ‘Honour is due to whom honour is due’ is anything to go by, then Hon. Yetunde Mabayomi Raheem popularly known as ‘Queen Yetty’ in the political and business arena deserved to be turbaned as the Osupa Adinni of Al-Mujeeb Mosdarul Istijabat Society of Nigeria owing to her devotion and contribution to the religion, the Al-Mujeeb Society of Nigeria and the community at large.
The Igbobi Orthopaedic football ground was a beehive of activities a fortnight ago as friends, families and top Islamic clerics stormed the venue to honour about 15 Turbanee and award recipients as Al-Mujeeb Mosdarul Istijabat Society of Nigeria celebrated its 15th Anniversary ceremony.

The Managing Director of Queen Yetty Cakes and Confectionery and Special Assistant to Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ on Humanitarian was the cynosure of all eyes as she was being turbaned and presented with the certificate by the Chief Missioner of Al-Mujeeb Mosdarul Istijabat Society of Nigeria, Fadilat Sheik AbdulRasheed Anofi Arikewuyo (Abu Anifah) who also doubled as the  Imam of Ogo-Oluwa Mosque, Somolu, Lagos.

The well-attended ceremony was a unifying event that brought together the who’s who in the Islamic ecosystem cladding in different and colourful attire that depicts the 15th anniversary, Turbaning and award ceremony.

Speaking to one of the guests who were in attendance in her honour, Mrs. Bisola Adenola described the recipient as a devoted Muslim whose immense contributions at every point into Islamic religion and Society have doubt lifted the Al-Mujeeb to an enviable status in the community.

She continued, “In all honesty, Mrs. Yetunde Raheem is a complete and dedicated Muslim woman with all the characteristics expected in a pious woman. The title is in tandem with her ways of life and she truly deserves what she got ‘Osupa Adinni’ meaning the light of the society”.

Meanwhile, the Somolu Super for Agric and Sports, Hon. Hector Ayo Coker who was also the guest of the Islamic title recipient hinted that the new Osupa Adinni of Al-Mujeeb Society of Nigeria has been considered to be a modest woman with sound morals and spiritual characteristics ideal philanthropic gesture.
“Hon. Yetunde, the new ‘Osupa Adinni’ in town is a respectful woman of honour who has what it takes to be turbaned as exhibited considering her modest lifestyle coupled with her philanthropic gesture. I think she deserved the honour of being bestowed as Osupa Adinni”.
Meanwhile, some of the guests present at the occasion include the Executive Chairman of Somolu LG, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, ably represented by Somolu Super for Agric and Sports, Hon. Hector Ayo Coker, the former Vice Chairman of Somolu local government and currently the commissioner 4, Lagos State Local Government Commission, Hon. Bowale Sosimi, the Somolu Deputy Leader of the House, Hon. Oduntan Ibrahim, Hon. Hakeem Anifowoshe, Alhaja Mojisola Adunni-Ade Abbas. Hon. Com. Ruth Lijirin, and Hon. Saka Abolore.
