The stage is set for the 10th Anniversary of Green Star Academy, Lagos as the management has set aside the 9th of December, 2023 for the grand finale of the football tournament and Awards Night put together in commemoration of its establishment.
According to the founder of the Academy, Mr. Idowu Jeremiah who hinted that the anniversary will begin with a football tournament tagged, “Drim Shelters Football Challenge 2023” which will commence on Saturday 4th of November and come to a close on 9th December, 2023 stressing that the event will be a topnotch and exciting event with side attraction that’ll make the anniversary a memorable one.
He went further, “I’m so excited that Green Star Academy has reached a landmark where we have to celebrate a decade of shunning out football talents who’re now playing their professional football both in and outside Nigeria and It’s quite an achievement and I give God the glory that I have impacted positively into the lives of young and disciplined people. Honestly, it really calls for celebration”.
Meanwhile, in the football tournament, the opening game will have Akoka FC and Burna FC locking horns at 10 am while the second match will have Bariga FC and Green Star FC battling each other for supremacy at 11 am slated for Ajayi Crowder Snr. Grammar School, CMS Complex, Bariga, Lagos.
The Green Star Academy is one of the best among the rest that has produced budding football talents who now lace their boots for clubs both in Nigeria and overseas.
