The 8th-day fidau prayers for the Late Princess Raliat Adedoyin Ayinde wife of the Chief Of Staff To Lagos State Governor Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde were held on Monday 21st of November 2022 with dignitaries, clerics, and members of the family paying their last respect for her at the HAVEN, Oba Akran way GRA Ikeja.

After the reading of the Holy Quran by the representative of Chief Imam of Lagos Imam Afinnih who also said we should always adore God for bringing us from the state of existence to the state of non-existence, the event was also used by the illustrious Sheik Farouq Sulaiman Onikijipa’ ” The Mufti Of Ilorin” as an avenue to remind people that essence in life is to serve God and do good at all times. Sheik Onikijipa’ also described Late Princess Raliat Adedoyin as a woman who lived her life for serving God and creating an impact in whatever she touched

Chief Imam Onigbongbo Alhaji Abdulwaheed Olalekan Ishola also prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant her external bliss, bless the children left behind, and grant her husband and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The Deputy Governor Of Lagos State Dr. AbdulKadri Obafemi Hamzat on behalf of the Governor’Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu said the vote of thanks while the closing prayer was said by Imam Afinnih who represented the Chief Imam of Lagos.

Among the dignitaries at the event were the wife of the state governor Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Dr. Abayomi Oluyomi Finnih (GAC member), Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku (Baba Eto), Executive Chairman Onigbongbo LCDA Hon Oladotun Olakanle, HRM Oba Oluwasgun Adeyemi Ajasa Olaside 1 ” Awuse Of Onigbongbo”, Sheik Arisukuna Alhaji Jebe, Chief Ganiu Sadiq(Asoju Oba Of Onigbongbo) Chief Tajudeen Irawo(Balogun Of Onigbongbo), Chief Wasiu Akerele (Bashorun Onigbongbo) Alh Rafiu Adam, Shiek AbdulHakeem Awal, Hon Anofiu Elegushi, Chairman Lagos Parks Management Committee Alh Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya(MC OLU Omo) Serving and Past Councillors across Ikeja federal constituency, Serving and Past Supervisory Councillors, among others.
