The mother of former Daily Need Group Procurement Manager, Mr. Richard Ayoade, Mrs. Iyabo Adunni Oladepo-Ayoade joined her creator on the 18th of August, 2022 at the ripe age of 84 years.
According to the eldest son of the deceased, Mr. Ayoade said one cannot question God for taking her away for He giveth and taketh but rather thanked God for mama for living a fulfilling and exemplary life; describing her as an epitome of womanhood, a committed Christian, disciplinarian and a political amazon who’ll stop at nothing to ensure things are done in a proper way and manner.
He went further. “Mama was a committed and dedicated fellow who was born into a Christian home (Anglican) and remain an Anglican member till death. She served her God diligently and taught us to be steadfast in all our dealings at all times. And as a caring and wonderful mother, she had the opportunity of touching many lives who crossed her path without ethnic colouration.”
“Her political contributions at the grassroots level cannot be underestimated as she paved way for the emergence of many Councillors, Council Chairmen, State House of Assembly members, and Federal House of Reps members as a progressive and Woman leader at Abule Ijesha under Lagos Mainland local government. We’ll surely miss her role as a mother.”
“It’s our prayer that God grant her soul eternal rest and forgive her shortcomings.”
Meanwhile, the Octogenarian has since been buried while the final burial ceremony of the former All Progressive Congress (APC) Woman leader under Lagos Mainland local government is scheduled for 1st of October 2022 at London Barber, Majidun Akoko by BRT Depot, Ikorodu, Lagos at 1 pm prompt.
Mrs. Iyabo Adunni Oladepo-Ayoade is survived by children and grandchildren.
