The Medical Director/CEO, Somolu General Hospital, Dr. Saliu Oseni paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman, Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hameed Salawu to establish a collaborative work system.
The Medical Director/ CEO, noted that top on the list was the construction work for an ultra-modern General Hospital complex billed to start on the piece of land which formerly held the Council offices.
Dr. Oseni said the visit aimed at seeking assurance and ensuring cooperation is pertinent as the contractors get set to move to the site following the State Governments directive for commencement of work.
Responding, Hon. Salawu expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged total support towards the dream of achieving a world-class General hospital complex within the community.
The Local Government boss who was joined by the Supervising Councilor for Health noted that the land has been secured with the former building already demolished in readiness for the new hospital project.
The Medical Director/CEO was accompanied on the visit by members of the hospital’s management team Director Admin & HR, Mr. Solomon Soyebo, Deputy Medical Director, Dr. Alloysius Inofomoh, and Apex nurse Mrs. Funmilayo Taiwo.
