The Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri and the Yeye-Shewa of Ilara Kingdom, Hon. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada has sent a congratulatory message to the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, HRH, Oba (Dr.) Olukayode Olufolarin Ogunsanwo on his 2nd year coronation anniversary held a few days ago.
According to a press statement from the Mayoress’ office where she described the Alara of Ilara Kingdom as a change-maker who brought the needed developmental progress to the town in just a few years in charge as a ruler which is a testimony of choosing the right ruler.
She went further, “The level of development and progress your reign have brought to ILARA kingdom and Lagos State traditional institution can not be underestimated”.
“KABIESI, as you praise Almighty God for spending 2 years on the throne of your forefathers, we pray that your kingdom brings more success and development to Lagos State’s traditional institutions and the Yoruba race”.
“On behalf of our Executive, Legislative, Management, Staffs, and all the good people of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, I want to Congratulate our Royal Father HRM OBA DR OLUKAYODE OLUFOLARIN OGUNSANWO: THE ALARA OF ILARA KINGDOM (TELADE IV) on this occasion of his 2nd coronation anniversary”.
The Somolu Newspaper Amazon of the Year Award winner, however, used the opportunity to congratulate Alara on the just concluded Aje Festival 2022, while praying for more knowledge and understanding to rule his kingdom.
