As parts of efforts to make education more accessible to the Somolu community, the chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. Abdul Hameed Salawudeen Dullar through his initiative, Dullar Continua Initiative is set to present welcome Back To School kits to Primary schools across the local government.
According to the statements from the group, all the Executives of Dullar Continua Initiative, including the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hameed Salawu (Dullar) will be touring around all the Primary Schools (18) to offer the donation of the well-packed “Writing Materials” to the pupils individually, without an iota of compromise whatsoever.
Meanwhile, the project which was allotted 1/4 of the Batches of Educational Programs slated for the year 2020 which will go a long way in subserving the enhancement of young and quick-witted pupils’ motivation in the locality and impelled them to remain engrossed in their learning activities, which will also be a great ecstasy to their parent’s atonement.
The Educational Project is expected to be unveiled on Monday 20th January 2020 across all the Primary Schools in the Community (18), tagged “Welcome Back To School Educational Support Program”.
However, parents whose children are attending the enlisted schools (Ijebutedo, Wright Memorial, Wesley, Agunbiade, Ola-Olu, Baptist, Igbobi Orthopaedic, Igbobi, Odunlade, SS Peter & Paul, Okemeta Memorial, Adebule, Modupe, Bashua Military (UNA), St. Augustine (UNA), St. Peter’s (UNA), Jehovah Shalom and St. Paul’s (UNA) have been advised to allow their children resume to their respective schools on Monday, January 20, 2020, as officially stipulated by the Lagos State Government.
