The Education Secretary of Somolu Local Government Honourable Dare Martins popularly known as D.M resumed office today Wednesday, 23rd October 2019. The newly appointed Education Secretary steps into his new office early today amidst cheers from Somolu and Bariga leaders, legislators, executives, party members, singers among others.
The acting Executive Secretary Mr. Adu who received loads of political big wings early today took his time to welcome all leaders from Somolu and Bariga, as he advocated his happiness that the day has finally come, a day that has been postponed repeatedly and he was grateful to the leaders for using their wisdom to arrive on common ground in peace.
In his capacity as the outgoing acting ES which was as a result of vacancy that existed correlating to the former Education Executive Secretary expiration of tenure, he uses the medium to notify the general public and staff that with immediate effect he seized to be the acting ES to pave way for the new man Hon. Dare Martins Onakoya the newly appointed Somolu Education Secretary as all documents were handed over to him.
While addressing the management, leaders and well-wishers, the newly appointed ES, Hon Dare Martins Onakoya was sincerely grateful to God, and he used the opportunity to thank both the Chairmen of Somolu Local Government and Bariga Local Council Development Area for their level of wisdom to the local and national development, he also thanked specially the party Chairmen of Somolu and Bariga, the leaders of both Somolu and Bariga, to clear the air he further made it lucid that there is no rift among himself, Bidemi and Mike, that people should not create unnecessary plight among them.
He further appreciated the Somolu NUT, the state NUT, chairman of SUBEB, Hon Alawiye King, and his board members, his wife, children for all their prayers, well-wishers, political associates and other concern members.
While speaking on behalf of the Party faithful members, the Somolu local government party Chairman Honourable Femi Taiwo Congratulates the new ES on behalf of the party as he charged him to perform beyond expectations with inclusive governance.
Bariga LCDA party Chairman Hon Timothy Oyasodun also uses the medium to Congratulates the new Somolu Education Secretary as he further charges him for the patriotism of duties and to also carry the party along to a greater height.
