29th Coronation Anniversary: Deputy Minority Whip Adesegun Congratulates Oba Oni

The Deputy Minority Whip of the 9th Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya has felicitated with the Olu of Imasayi, Oba Gbadebo Adesola Oni on the occasion of his 29th anniversary on the throne of his forefathers.

Rt.Hon. Adekoya, in a statement he personally signed, commended the sterling leadership traits of Oba Oni which he said has brought development to the Imasayi Kingdom and the entire Yewa land.

“It has pleased Almighty Allah and your ancestors to bless you with good health, longevity on the throne of your forefathers and above all, to allow peace and tranquillity to reign in your domain.

“The development and growth which Imasayi and the entire Yewa land have enjoyed since you mounted the throne of your forefathers have been as a result of your enviable and sterling leadership qualities which have galvanized everyone over the years,” he said.

The lawmaker, who is also the Otunba Gbobaniyi of Imasayi Kingdom, noted that various landmark successes the reign of the monarchy has brought to the Imasayi Kingdom have continued to draw many people to the Kingdom.

“Your footprints especially those left on the sand of time when you served as the pioneer Secretary of the Yewa Council of Oba; a period that gave birth to Yewa Traditional Council and Paramountcy can never be wiped off our memories or become void in the annals of the Traditional Council’s history in Ogun state,” Adekoya stated.

He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to continue to grant Oba Oni many more years of good health, enviable attainment and peaceful kingdom.
