AFCON 2021 : FECAFOOT President Receives Tournament’s Flag

The President of Cameroon Football Federation, Prince Seidou Mbombo Njoya has received the official flag of the 2021 Africa Nations cup.

The flag was handed over to him by CAF’s president Ahmad Ahmad at the close of the 2019 edition that took place in Egypt with the Desert Foxes crowned champions.

Cameroon was supposed to host the 2019 edition of the tournament but due to delay in infrastructures, they were stripped off their hosting rights and handed over to Egypt.

The president of the confederation of African football, Ahmad Ahmad later announced that Cameroon shall host the competition in 2021.

The indomitable lions of Cameroon were eliminated in the just ended AFCON by Nigeria at the round of 16.
