A progressive and staunch member of All Progressive Congress (APC) and Lagos Assembly aspirant, Mrs Maryam Owolabi Bada representing Somolu Constituency 1 has felicitated with Hon. Ahmed Lawan and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila who both won as the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representative of 9th National Assembly respectively defeating their opponent with a wide margin.
The elated Bada revealed that she was indeed excited that they both came out victorious in an election that almost discredited the ruling party but well managed. “There’s no doubt about their being committed, discipline, courageous, articulate and experienced lawmakers who will exhibit exemplary leadership traits deposited in them to move the nation forward”.
She adds “From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my constituency, I sincerely congratulate Hon. Ahmed Lawan and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on their victory at the just concluded election which proved that they’re truly ‘the chosen one’ among the rest of the contenders to move the nation to the next level”.
“Its my prayer that Almighty Allah will grant them the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to do the right thing at the right time”. she stated
She, however, enjoined Nigerians to give the lawmakers all the supports when and where necessary to be able to carry out their task without fear or favour and give Nigerians the dividends of democracy
