According to the President of the Association, Mr Dele Oyeledun, said the unfortunate development has left members of the alumni community in deep sorrow, as colleagues, friends and associates continue to pay glowing tributes to the deceased, describing them as dedicated, humble and invaluable members of the association whose lives positively impacted those around them.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the set, members expressed profound grief over the painful loss, noting that the passing of Bashir Rasak and Oluwole Ololude has created a huge vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
According to the alumni group, both men were known for their commitment to fostering unity among members and their willingness to contribute to the growth and progress of the association whenever called upon.
The association extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, friends and loved ones of the deceased, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“We are deeply saddened by the demise of our beloved colleagues, Bashir Rasak and Oluwole Ololude. Their passing is a painful reminder of the transient nature of life. We pray that Almighty Allah forgives their shortcomings, grants them Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and comforts everyone they have left behind,” the President’s statement read.
Mr Oyeledun also urged members to remain united during this period of grief while offering prayers for the eternal repose of the departed souls.
The TASCE Alumni 99/2000 Set further encouraged members to continue supporting the bereaved families through prayers and acts of kindness, stressing that the memories of the deceased would remain cherished within the alumni community.
The association concluded by praying that the souls of Bashir Rasak and Oluwole Ololude rest in perfect peace and that their legacies of friendship, service and commitment to the TASCE Alumni family will never be forgotten.
