Tributes and birthday messages poured in from political leaders, associates, and well-wishers across Somolu Local Government Area as the former Chairperson of Somolu Local Government and the CEO of EqualRight Restaurant and Bar, Hon. Mrs Mariam Omotanwa Salau, marked another year of life on Friday, 12th June 2026.
Leading the stream of birthday congratulatory messages was the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, who described the celebrant as a distinguished leader and committed grassroots politician whose contributions to the growth and development of Somolu remain remarkable.
In his birthday message, Ashimi praised Hon. Omotanwa Salau for her years of dedicated service to the people, noting that her tenure as chairperson laid a solid foundation for sustainable development and community advancement in the council area.
