Speaking during the highly applauded event, Salawu “Dullar” explained that the empowerment programme was not organised for political campaigns but to appreciate Almighty God and fulfil the promises he made while leaving office as Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government. Beneficiaries received cargo tricycles, industrial sewing machines, sewing machines, grinding machines, giant oven burners, vulcanising machines, generators, barbing equipment, gas cookers with cylinders, deep freezers, popcorn machines, tile cutters, mechanical tool boxes, laptop computers, desktop computers, drinks, and several other valuable business support items aimed at improving economic opportunities, promoting entrepreneurship, and encouraging self-reliance among residents of the constituency.
