In a statement released to the media, he clearly stated that he was neither invited nor represented at any so-called harmony meeting led by the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council Member (GAC), Senator Anthony Adefuye.
“Let me clearly state that I was neither invited to nor represented at any so-called harmony meeting reportedly led by Lagos State Governance Advisory Council Member, Senator Anthony Adefuye. The claims suggesting that such a meeting reflected broad-based consultations among aspirants are misleading and untrue”.
“From all available information, the meeting involved only selected All Progressives Congress leaders in Somolu-Bariga with aligned interests. It is also evident that only one out of the six House of Representatives aspirants was present, as I and others were not invited or represented”.
In his closing remarks, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ added that he regarded the outcome of the meeting and any associated endorsement as sectional and purely a personal decision, which remains clearly detached from the collective will and official position of the All Progressives Congress.
