One of the women entrepreneurs in the logistics business in the state and the CEO of Treasurebash Logistics, Alhaja Mrs. Basirat Lawal popularly known as ‘Bash’ has described her sojourn to the holy land of Mecca as an amazing experience that will remain evergreen in her life.
She added, “I never thought of myself going to Mecca to perform Hajj this year 2024. It was Allah in His infinite mercy that used my husband and I added the little money I had saved over time to it. Just as we were rejoicing over that, the government of Saudi Arabia jerked up the fee unexpectedly which almost dashed my dream of performing the Hajj. Alhamdulilahi that the dream eventually comes to fruition”.
“Honestly, I was touched when I saw where the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was buried and besides Mecca and Medinah are beautiful places to visit. You need to see the goose pimples that ran over my body. There’s no way you will not be touched if you truly went there with the same intention for which the pilgrim is meant”.
The elated latest Alhaji and Alhaja in town who beam with smiles intermittently could not hide their joy shortly after observing Jumat service at the Somolu Central Mosque where they offered their special Thanksgiving to Almighty Allah for a safe trip.
