The atmospheric condition in Abimbola street in Somolu local government area of the state on Tuesday 22nd November 2022 switched to a tantalizing mode as birthday mates, Hakeem Shitta and Mrs. Philomina Irokwe Odunukan set the street on fire with birthday activities that kept family, friends, and well-wishers in a joyous mood.
The elated Vice-Chairman of the Great Social Club of Lagos, Hakeem Shitta said he was indeed happy that God gave him the opportunity to witness another wonderful year noting that many people never had the opportunity he had.
He went further, “I thank Almighty Allah for his mercy and blessing. Which of His favour will I deny? He gave me good health and a sound mind. None of my family are in hospital. God, I’m indeed grateful for His mercy.” He concluded.
In her birthday message during an interactive session said she would ever remain grateful to God for His guidance and mercy over the years.
“My God is a wonderful God and I’ll ever remain grateful for His guidance and blessing over me.”
The celebrants, however, poured encomium on the family and guests for their gifts and prayers while they prayed to God to replenish their pockets in million folds.
