The Nigeria Aquatic Federation has disclosed its desire to promote swimmers in the country. Speaking at the press briefing during the week the president, Chief (Mrs) Chinoye Aliyu pledged her support to the forthcoming Swimming Coaches Conference and Aquatic Lifeguard Professional Course.
According to her, the programme will see facility managers who are in charge of hotels, schools, beaches, and recreational centers file into the Lagos-based Teslim Balogun Swimming Pool Complex from September 25th – 30th 2022.
Speaking at the briefing, Aliyu hinted that the federation won’t relent in its bid to lift the sport of swimming to enviable heights. She however urged parents and swimmers to storm the venue in order to get them acquainted with the sport.
“The sport of swimming is not easy and we as a federation have been doing our possible best to make sure we put this country at the forefront. We organized this to let those who love the sport that the door is widely open for anyone who wishes to equip him or herself.
