Hon. Ayodele loses father, holds 8 days fidau prayer in his honour

A staunch member of All Progressive Congress (APC) Somolu chapter, Hon. Ayodele Lawal was reported to have lost his paternal father Alhaji Rafiu Olanipekun Lawal (a.k.a. Bawo ni night) to the cold hands of death in the month of January 30th, 2022 at the age of 78 years.

Speaking to Somolu News, the tall and light in complexion politician who described his father’s death as a rude shock said he wasn’t expecting his death at that time but take solace in Allah that He giveth and taketh since no one has control over death except Allah.

The former Ward E councillorship aspirant made the pronouncement a few weeks ago where he eulogized his father as a disciplinarian, loving, caring, and wonderful father who will not compromise his family for anything.

Meanwhile, the deceased, Alhaji Rafiu Olaonipekun Lawal has been buried according to Islamic rite while eight days fidau prayer was also held on 7th of February, 2022 at his Ikorodu home, Lagos with top All Progressive Congress (APC) bigwigs, friends, and family members in attendance not leaving out Muslim clerics who were also present to offer fidau prayer according to Islamic doctrine.

Hon. Ayodele, however, thanked the guests who attended the prayer session while he prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive all his father’s misdeed and grant him aljanah fridaus.
