It was a black Friday on 26th November 2021 when one of the Somolu promising young men, Kamilu Musari (aged 44 yrs) was said to have died owing to complications from health issues.
The deceased, a young politician and real estate agent was reported to have complained of throat complications a few days ago and a nurse was called in to attend to him only for the situation to relapse some days later.
Although, he was rushed to a nearby hospital when the situation was becoming unbearable but pronounced dead before the health personnel could attend him.
Until his death, Kamilu as fondly called by his friends and relatives was a staunch member of Somolu All Progressive Congress (APC) and has in the time past contributed to the growth and development of Ward E through SOCCECAN, a street carnival that adds value to the socio-economic development of some streets and Somolu in its entirety before it was banned by Governor Babatunde Fashola because of constant social unrest.
The deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites. He’s survived by his brother, sister, wife, and children.
