About 100 students seeking admission into various higher institutions of learning in Somolu local government will heave a sigh of relief as Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ support group recently distributed 100 Jamb forms to them to support their educational pursuit.
In a statement made on 21st May 2021 at Dullar campaign secretariat by the Chief of Staff to the council Chairman, Abdul Hamed Dullar; Hon. Ayodele Samson Afolabi described the move as a welcome idea and impactful initiative.
“No doubt about the fact that there are a lot of students out there whose parents are not buoyant enough to get the Jamb form for their ward(s) and that’s the reason we’re doing this on behalf of the council chairman to assist them in achieving their dream goal of attending a higher institution of learning of their choice.”
According to Hon. Afolabi who hinted that the initiative was a way of paying back to Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ for his unflinching supports enjoyed by his benefactors in the recent past.
“It’s important to note that apart from infrastructural development projects executed by Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu led administration in Somolu, he has also touched lives positively home and abroad in many ways and manners which ultimately gave birth to this essential and dedicated Jamb form initiative and I’m sure the families of the beneficiaries will be delighted about this and bless the Chairman and the initiators in return”.
