The Chairman, Bariga Local Council, Hon. Alabi Kolade David has, on behalf of the association, felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
He reminded the Christian faithful to be joyful at this auspicious time of the year “no matter our obvious difficulties and challenges.”
He said, “I heartily convey the greetings and wishes for a joyous occasion this Easter. No doubt the resurrection is at the core of the belief of all Christians. Without it, the faith professed is meaningless.
“I identify with you all at these inspiring and uplifting moments in hope of new life and fresh starts. Let me remind us all to be joyful this time of the year no matter our obvious difficulties and challenges. Through the resurrection of Christ whose light illuminates the dark moments of our existence, it is my prayer that God will prevail with domestic peace, protect our collective interest for unity and development”.
“We shall not cease to seek better Service delivery through a democratically elected local government and Council officials throughout the country”, Hon. Alabi Kolade David stated.
