Officials from Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA) visit Hon. Rotimi Olowo in Somolu

The officials of Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency which is saddled with the responsibility to prepare improvement plans for the purpose of rehabilitating, renovating, and upgrading the physical environment is aimed at providing infrastructural facilities and amenities within the blighted Lagos communities recently visited the lawmaker representing Somolu Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Olowo.
The team led by Engr. Moshood Musa explained that the intent of their visit was to assess the conditions of the listed roads, noting that it was part of the agency regeneration plans on infrastructural renewal for the Somolu community and in line with the Lagos smart megacity agenda.
While taking the measurement of dilapidated Moshalashi street, Engr. Moshood commended the efforts of Hon. Rotimi Olowo, most especially for prioritizing the social and welfare needs of his community as demonstrated in the way he influenced Somolu into their urban renewal plans. He assured that works would soon commence on the roads as formalities have been perfected, while they await approval from the governor.
The lawmaker appreciated the presence of the team in his community and urged them to accelerate actions on the commencement of the works, stating that he would do all within his legislative capacity to ensure they get full support.
Part of the roads inspected includes Fagbeyiro, Aiyepe, Oluwalogbon, Dailey, Akanni, Ogunbadejo, Balogun lane among other streets.
