EID-EL-KABIR CELEBRATION: ALGON President urges Nigerians to be patients and obedient

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) National President, Hon. Alabi Kolade David facilitates with Muslim faithful in the country as we celebrate the Eid-il-Kabir festival.

Eid-el-Kabir is the biggest festival in the Islamic doctrine which is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhul-Hijjah ( the last month in the Islamic calendar). It is this same month that the last pillar of Islam (Hajj) is being performed.

In the same vein, A statement issued by ALGON National President media office in Abuja, where Alabi urges Nigerians to be more patient and obedient at all times.

“Eid-il-Kabir comes with worthwhile lessons for us all, true obedience is selflessness and submission to Allah’s will. Patience and obedient dominates this day many years back which we still enjoy till date and forever.

Hence, let’s emulate these attributes, it’s a tool to attain greater heights in our endeavours.” ALGON President said.

“Let’s be obedient to rules and regulations, safety precautions and the laws of the land. Patient and obedient made Allah changed the request of human for sacrifice to the animal (Ram), it can also help to change your status to victory.”

As we celebrate today, may this festival of sacrifice bring us hope, fulfilment, joy, victory and unending happiness at all time. May we witness many more of it.
