Residents of Adetuberu, Temitayo Obisanya, Isaac Omole Residents in Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, for fulfilling one of her major campaign promises, bringing much-needed development and relief to their neighbourhoods.
The commendation came following the completion of key infrastructural and community improvement projects championed by the council boss, which have significantly enhanced the living standards of residents in the three communities.
Speaking on behalf of Adetuberu residents, Mr. Ganiyu Olanrewaju lauded Princess Bada’s administration for its unwavering commitment to grassroots development noting that the council’s intervention had transformed the area, which was previously plagued by poor road conditions, drainage issues, and lack of basic amenities.
“When Princess Bada visited during her campaign, she promised to address our infrastructural challenges. Today, we can see the results — our roads are better, the environment is cleaner, and residents can move about freely. We are sincerely grateful”. Olanrewaju said.
Similarly, residents of the Temitayo Obisanya community praised the council chairman for her proactive governance and people-centered leadership. Mrs. Aisha Bello, a trader in the area, described the initiative as “a fulfillment of hope” and urged other political officeholders to emulate her dedication.
“Unlike many politicians who disappear after elections, Princess Samiat Bada has shown that promises can be kept. Her actions have restored our faith in local governance,” Bello remarked.
In her response, Princess Samiat Bada reaffirmed her commitment to delivering sustainable development projects across all wards of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA. She emphasized that her administration’s focus remains on improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.
“Public service is about impact, not politics. Our goal is to make every community in Ikosi-Isheri feel the presence of government through tangible results,” she stated.
The Yeye-shewa of Ilara Kingdom also hinted at ongoing and upcoming projects, including the rehabilitation of inner roads, the provision of fire service to enhance safety of lives and properties, and support programs for small-scale entrepreneurs.
Residents expressed optimism that these continued efforts would further transform their communities and improve the overall socio-economic wellbeing of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
