It was an unforgettable day of celebration, admiration, and gratitude as the chairman of Apex Leaders, Somolu/Bariga Federal Constituency, Hon. Apostle Peter Adeyeye Oyewusi, lavishly marked his 80th birthday.
The event, which took place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the prestigious Divine Event Centre in Obanikoro, Lagos, attracted a stellar gathering of political heavyweights, captains of industry, community leaders, religious figures, and notable business personalities.
Apostle Oyewusi, who has been a prominent figure in both the political and religious landscapes of Nigeria, was surrounded by an impressive array of dignitaries who travelled from various parts of the country to celebrate his life and remarkable contributions to society. The event, no doubt, was a testament to his enduring legacy and the positive impact he has had in both the public and private sectors.
Oyewusi, known for his selfless leadership and commitment to the welfare of his community, has served as a guiding light for many in the Somolu and Bariga regions of Lagos. In a moving tribute during the ceremony, the Akirogun of Epe Kingdom and the former ‘Chair of Chair’ of APC in Lagos State, Otunba Dr Denge Anifowoshe, described Apostle Oyewusi as a “man of vision, faith, a good administrator, a political associate, resilient and compassionate. We’ve known each other for over 35 years now under the leadership of Senator Anthony Adefuye, under the leadership of late Alhaji Osiyemi.”
