In a bid to enhance educational opportunities for Indigenous students, Coded Educational Support Group, an educational consultancy firm led by Hon. Folarin Olubiyi, has launched the 2nd edition of its free JAMB Initiative.
The programme, aimed at providing financial relief and academic support to students aspiring to gain admission into tertiary institutions, reaffirms the group’s dedication to fostering education in Ward C, Ijebutedo.
Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Olubiyi, the coordinator of the programme, emphasized his unwavering commitment to promoting education within his constituency.
He noted that education remains the best legacy one can bequeath to the younger generation, adding that investing in students today would yield a brighter future for the community.
“This initiative is part of my continuous effort to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder our youths from accessing higher education. By covering the costs of JAMB registration, we are giving them a stepping stone toward achieving their academic dreams,” he stated.
The Free JAMB Initiative is expected to benefit a significant number of students in Ward C, Ijebutedo, easing the burden on parents and guardians while encouraging academic excellence.
The programme’s first edition recorded remarkable success, with many beneficiaries securing admission into various institutions across the country.
Community members and educational stakeholders have lauded Hon. Olubiyi for his consistent dedication to youth development, urging other well-meaning individuals and organizations to support similar educational interventions.
With this initiative, the Coded Educational Support Group continues to set a commendable example of how grassroots interventions can bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity for students in underserved communities.
In his closing remarks, the Chief Executive Director of Coded Hotel and Suite and APC Ward c Councillorship aspirant,, however, said he sees this initiative as a way of giving back to the society and urged other elites in the community to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the society.
