In his keynote address, the Publisher of Somolu Newspaper, Sheriff Owolabi Bada, praised Techsheperd for its exemplary role in driving technological advancement and community development. “Techsheperd’s commitment to innovation and education has set a benchmark in our community. They have not only excelled in their field but have also made substantial contributions to our youth’s future.” He stated.
Techsheperd’s recent achievements have been particularly noteworthy. The company successfully organized ‘TechSparkle2024,’ a three-week ICT boot camp for kids and teens in the Somolu community. The event, which concluded on August 28, 2024, saw the participation of 89 enthusiastic young learners.
The boot camp aimed to equip participants with essential ICT skills, covering areas such as coding, robotics, and digital literacy. The initiative not only provided valuable knowledge but also inspired the next generation of tech enthusiasts.
Alhaja Mrs. Basirat Lawal, a parent whose children attended the bootcamp, expressed her gratitude for the programme. “My son has always been interested in technology, but this bootcamp has ignited a passion in him that I haven’t seen before. He’s now more confident and eager to pursue a tech career.” She shared.
