The Ayoade compound of the former CDA Chairman of Ayoade Street, Alhaji Akinola Akinboye in the Somolu local government area of the state was filled to its capacity as the family members held an 8-Days fidau prayer for the late Mrs. Risikat Oluwakemi Sanni Akingbade who died on 15th September 2024 at the age of 64 years.
According to the leader of the Islamic clerics who delivered the sermon at the event reminded the gathering about life and death stressing that people should try as much as possible to be close to God, be good to others, and remember the last day on earth.
He continued, “We should all have it at the back of our mind that death is imminent, we cannot question Allah because He giveth and taketh whenever He wishes”.
“However, I want to admonish us to hold unto Allah, be good to others, and remember the day of judgment. The deceased has fulfilled her destiny on earth and we pray to Allah to forgive her misdeed, grant her aljanah fridau, and give the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the great loss”. He prayed.
Present at the prayer session for Mrs. Oluwakemi Sanni Akingbade, who includes family members, top government functionaries, political elites, real estate magnates, title chiefs, and well-wishers.
Mrs. Oluwakemi Sanni Akingbade is survived by her husband, Mr. Sanni Akingbade, son; Kunle Akingbade, sisters, and brothers.
