The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ikosi Isheri Local Branch successfully observed World Youth Skill Day on Monday, July 15th, with a productive and engaging program.
The event, themed “Turning Trash into Treasure,” aimed to equip local youths with valuable skills and promote sustainable practices.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the plastic ottomans to Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
The Mayoress was impressed by the creativity and innovation of the youths and assured them that she would work to establish a designated location where waste products like plastics can be collected and stored for reuse.
