The foremost tertiary institution in Nigeria, Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH, has bagged the Trailblazer Award as the Most Innovative Federal Polytechnic in Nigeria.
The award was given by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), an agency under the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, yesterday, October 13, 2023, and was received by the College Bursar, Mr. Adekunle Yesouf on behalf of the College.
The Award is for the best Nigeria GovTech in the category of Most Innovative Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.
The Award is an attestation to the effectiveness of the ERECT Agenda of the administration of Dr. Engr Abdul Ibraheem as Rector of the college, in his positive drive to produce knowledgeable, skilled, employable, entrepreneurial, self-reliant, and innovative graduates.
It is his mission to provide a conducive aesthetically pleasing and safe campuses with state-of-the-art learning environment, functional laboratories, workshop amenities, and excellent research facilities.
Engr Abdul Ibraheem is erecting the college for the future with a view to consolidate on the past and shape the future of the seventy-six-year-old Premier institution as her seventh Rector.
