Indeed, EVERY CHILD COUNTS, as its Executive Director, Lijirin Ruth Ayomide with her team stormed Ewenla, Adetoke, Ago Egun, Odelana, Alhaji Alimi, Ayoola, and its environ in Bariga LCDA as they witnessed a replica of the September 16th event, BACK TO SCHOOL programme of the foundation.
According to the founder of the initiative, Lijirin who said the idea was aimed at reaching out to school pupils who couldn’t partake in the event properly held at Mahyoung Barracks Somolu, they have called on the executive director to reach out because of her usual practice, which she fulfilled by storming the area with loads of goodies.
She went further, “Evidently, the kids at every nook and cranny of the visited area trooped out en mass with enthusiasm and joy. The Executive Director of LiRA Foundation, Lijirin Ruth Ayomide in her expression to our news medium, reiterated that we must practice what we preach if we had chosen a theme for this year’s edition, we must make it reflect”.
“Honestly, the essence is to make sure we are able to reach out to as many school kids as possible, it is another form of complementing the efforts of government at both the state and Local Government level as they have intended to ameliorate the yearnings of its residents”.
However, in her closing remarks, the Executive Director of LiRA Foundation, Lijirin Ruth Ayomide reiterated her commitment to making the next edition spiral beyond imagination. We believe and we are hopeful.
