The Publisher and Managing Editor of Somolu News online, Sheriff Owolabi Bada has revealed that the reason behind the dedication of his Lagos Business School programme certificate to the Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ was nothing but in appreciation of the council chief’s philanthropic gesture that has helped him and many others find their feet in the recent past.
The light-skin publisher described his benefactor as a charismatic political leader and progressive man of honour who had created platforms for others to thrive both in the political space and other areas of human endeavour.
He continued, “He’s been a great influence on my career as a media practitioner. The moment I came in contact with him and subscribed to my weekly community Newspaper, that was the turning point for my business. And for me, to whom much is given, much is expected. I want to specially thank him for his ‘heart of gold’ and pray to God to continue to guide and bless him and his household”.
