Abiru expresses gratitude over completion of 9th Assembly and 10th Senate inauguration

The Chairman, House Committee on Industries and Senator representing Lagos-East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetounbo Abiru (FCA) has expressed his deepest appreciation to his esteemed constituents of the Lagos East Senatorial District for entrusting their mandate to him to represent them again in the 10th Senate of the National Assembly.

According to the statement made available to the media men where he further thanked his colleagues in the National Assembly who set aside ethnic, religious, political leanings and supported APC candidates for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly noting that History will forever be kind to them all.

He added, “The emergence of His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Godswill Obot Akpabio, CON, and Distinguished Senator Barau Jubrin as President and Deputy President of the 10th Senate is a positive development that will further enhance the quest of our party to deliver on our Renewed Hope manifesto.”

“I thank all Nigerians who stood solidly with us throughout the challenging period. We shall continue to promote the overall well-being of our people and ensure that the 10th Senate collaborates in our collective quest to deliver renewed hope to all Nigerians.”

“I also thank our elders, the Governance Advisory Council, (GAC) members, led by the apex leader in Ikorodu division, His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, leaders of our party, royal fathers in Lagos East Senatorial District, led by our revered monarch, HRM (Oba) Engr Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, close friends and associates who honoured me with their presence in Abuja on Tuesday.”

“To my dear wife, Feyisola, and my lovely children, my siblings, and the entire Abiru family, I appreciate your unflinching support all the time. I say thank you for standing by me.”

In his closing remarks, Abiru assure his esteemed constituents, leaders, and members of our party that he will continue on the path of developmental strides and also do more for the benefit of the larger number of the people.
