Ahead of the 2023 general elections billed for February, one of the All Progressive Congress in the Somolu local government area of the state, Hon. Adebola Shoga has described the duo of Somolu House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Biodun Orekoya and his counterpart vying for the Somolu Federal House of Representatives seat at the Red Chamber, Hon. Ademorin Kuye as the right choice for the people who will give a good account of themselves as reliable and responsible lawmakers when elected in the coming election.

The former Ward E councillorship candidate made this statement while speaking with a Somolu News correspondent recently noting that he was confident about their political antecedent despite the fact that their constitutional role is to legislate laws that will have a positive impact on the lives of the citizens but hopeful that they’ll not be found wanting when the need to put smiles on the faces of their constituents arise.
He added, “Let me remind you that both Orekoya and Kuye have performed wonderfully well in terms of governance both at the local government level and at the state level. No doubt about Orekoya’s track record when he was made the Executive Secretary of the Council and even as Commissioner II at the Lagos State Local Government Commission. “
“Likewise Hon. Ademorin Kuye who was also a local government chairman before he was appointed as commissioner for local government and Community Affairs, he did well and the records are there to verify.”
“They’re politicians with remarkable track records who deserve to be elected into positions where people will benefit maximally and I’m urging young and old to exercise their constitutional roles by voting for all the APC candidates in order for them to continue the good work.
In his conclusion, Hon. Shoga enjoined the youth in all facets of the political terrain to shun violence and make their vote count when the election starts in earnest.
Meanwhile, the Presidential, Senate, and House of Representatives elections are billed for February 11th, 2023 while the Governorship elections will be coming up in march 25th, 2023.
