The Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has eulogized his late Special Advise on Security, Hon. Tunji Idowu Oshokoya who slumped and died on Wednesday 25th January 2023.
According to the statement issued and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Oseni Owolabi Ajimomuiya, the Chairman described the late Executive member as a loyal, dedicated, intelligent, and humble personality who always ensures things are done the right way and manners.
“No doubt about the fact that my late Special Adviser on security was an intelligent, humble, and dedicated executive member of my administration who served meritoriously and judiciously while he was alive.”
“Who are we to question God for He giveth and taketh. We have no power over death and it’s always important to remember that one day, we’ll also join our creator.”
“On behalf of my family and the entire members of the Somolu Executive, I commiserate with the family of Hon. Tunji Idowu Oshokoya and pray that God grant him eternal rest, forgive his shortcomings, and give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.”
Until his death, he was one of the top security officers at the All Progressive Congress Independent Campaign Committee (ICC) at Oduduwa Crescent, Ikeja
The late Oshokoya died at the age of 51 and was committed to mother earth on Friday 27th January 2023 at the Atan cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
He is survived by Wife, children, brothers, sisters, and aged parents.
