In the spirit of the 2022 yuletide, the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu a.k.a Dullar has doled out welfare packages to the residents.
According to the Council Chairman, he reiterated his commitment to the good people of Somolu, in line with the interest of the electorate that affirmed his victory via the success of the elections months back.
In the presence of Hon. Abiodun Orekoya (2023 APC Assembly Candidate), Hon. Williams Lawanson (Former Sole Administrator, Somolu LG), Executive Council Members, Legislators, Staffs of the Agric & Social Services Department, alongside Hon. Mariam Salau (Chairperson), who ensured normalcy during the distribution; Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu urged the beneficiaries to embrace the delightful moment of love and togetherness, in strengthening their dedication to GOD Almighty ahead.
Further address of the Chairman epitomized the need for the electorates to cast their respective votes appropriately in the upcoming polls.
In lieu, Hon. Abiodun Orekoya showered encomium on the Council Chairman for prioritizing the welfare of the citizens. He also pacified the people to uphold a great deal of forbearance, sincere prayers, and strong hope for a better Nation for all.
The APC Assembly Candidate encouraged the people to reflect on the gains of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda in Lagos State, assuring all that such can be replicated at the Federal level, should the intelligent & quintessential APC Presidential Flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu be voted in as the next President of our great country, Nigeria.
Furthermore, Hon. Orekoya utilized the privilege to drum support for other 2023 Candidates at the Lagos East Senatorial District and Somolu Federal Constituency respectively.
Whereas, the season’s largesse was extended to many stakeholders of the community as well as traditional, community and political leaders, including representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Somolu, to ensure the merriment of the season is felt in all areas of the larger community of Somolu.
