Somolu council helmsman, Hon. Olowo, Olisa others mourn Hon. Adenugba’s passage

The Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has described the death of Hon, Adesina Adenugba as a shocking and devastating blow to his immediate family and the Somolu political community.

In his condolence message issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Oseni Owolabi Ajimomuiya described the Somolu APC chieftain as a resourceful, polite, and friendly political icon who contributed his quota to the growth and development of the community while he was the council of his ward and repeated same as Apex leader till death struck.

He went further, “It’s painful and shocking to receive the sad news of the death of one of our resourceful, polite, and friendly political leaders in Somolu Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Adesina Adeniyi Adenugba, a former Councilor.”

“Indeed, the death of Hon. Adesina Adeniyi Adenugba is a total submission to the will of Almighty God, the giver and taker of life. He was a devoted Christian who held humanity in high esteem.”

“On behalf of the people, government, and Administration of Somolu Local Government, we express our condolences to the Adenugba Family, friends, and associates. May God give us all fortitude to bear this great loss.”

Similarly, the lawmaker representing Somolu constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Olowo Emmanuel did not hesitate to pen a condolence message to the family of the late Somolu APC stalwart over the death of their breadwinner, Hon. Adesina Adeniyi Adenugba who died on the 1st of November 2022 at the age of 72.

In his submission, Hon. Olowo described the late Somolu APC chieftain as a great friend, democrat and progressive ally whose contributions to the party and Somolu in its entirety cannot be underestimated which’ll remain evergreen in the sand of time.

“Hon. Adenugba was a good friend, brother, and progressive ally who planted the seed of progress in the sand of time. No doubt about the fact that he will be missed by friends, political associates, and family.” He stated.

Hon. Ademola Olisa Adefalujo in his condolence remarks said “Adenugba was an old friend, we served together in the legislative arm in 1991 during the administration of Adelani Dada as the Chairman of Somolu local government. He served as a councillor then and he was also a committed member of the Apex leaders before his passage. May his soul rest in peace and I pray to god to grant his family fortitude to bear the great loss.”

In the same vein, the Chairperson of Somolu local government, Hon. Mrs. Mariam Omotanwa Salau hinted that the death of the Somolu APC stalwart was saddening but take solace in the fact the Lord giveth and taketh.

She, however, prayed to God to grant Hon. Adesina Adeniyi Adenugba eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The late Somolu APC chieftain has been committed to mother earth the following day according to the family directive.

Meanwhile, a condolence register has been opened at his Awofeso residence for families, neighbours, and friends as a mark of honour for the departed soul.

Late Hon. Adesina Adenugba is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
