Khalifa Afolayan while speaking with a Somolu News correspondent stated that being installed as the imam is not a liberty to engage in unruly behaviour. He went further to say that it’s a great task that requires total dedication and sacrifices noting that carrying out the task is not as easy as many people thought.

He continued, “I know this is going to be a great task that requires a lot of sacrifices and commitment; I am ready to take up the responsibility in order to build upon the legacies of predecessors”.

“I am very happy to have been selected and installed as the next Imam. I want to specially thank the Chairman and the committee of the Oluwalogbon Muslim community for their support and for the confidence reposed in me by selecting me as their new Imam.
He, however, urged the community for more continuous support to enable him to discharge his role as expected.
