The Chairperson of Somolu local government, Hon. Mrs. Maryam Omotanwa Salau has described her mother-in-law as ‘a mother in a million’ in her warmth birthday message to Mrs. Mojisola Abeni Kale who turned 80 years recently.
Speaking to Somolu News online at the function which took place at the Baptist Academy Hall, Obanikoro, Lagos, where the Chairperson further revealed that the Octogenarian has remained a wonderful mother who’s very caring, accommodating, and one of the most amazing women she’s ever met.
She continued, “Happy Birthday to one of the most amazing women I’ve ever come across. A very caring and accommodating mother who’ll always put others into consideration and ensure people around her are comfortable. Enjoy your 80s, mom! We love you. Happy birthday!”
The birthday ceremony was not only colouful with Aso Ebi as known in the Yoruba setting but memorable as family members, political associates, community leaders, and top government functionaries stormed the venue of the ceremony to wine and dine with the celebrant who was full of life and bubbling.
The top music maestro was on ground to treat the celebrant and the guests to good music vibes that kept many of the guests on their feet for many hours till their legs were worn out.
The Master of the ceremony (MC), Nkem on his own did not stop a bit as he kept the guests falling on each other with his jokes leaving them with aching stomachs and endless tears on their faces.
Meanwhile, gifts of different colours and shapes were distributed to the guests as a mark of appreciation for their support and attendance while the children of the celebrant wish them well as they return to their various destinations.
