The Executive Chairman Hon. Abdul-Hamed Salawu Dullar (Mr Imototo Somolu Lekan Si) has applauded the action of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (Somolu Chapter) for committing themselves willingly to complement the effort of the government and key into the poise and mandate of Sustaining a cleaner, safer, secured and Environmentally hygienic atmosphere for Prosperous Somolu as they begin 2021 in a good slate of promoting a healthy environment.
Hon. Dullar who was represented by his Imototo De Ambassador, Comrade Oluwarotimi Oluyede, Special Adviser on Environment at the second Edition of Clean Up Somolu powered by the NYCN Somolu Chapter, said he was proud to identify with the teaming youth male and female with a high spirit who gathered and commences the Clean-Up Exercise from Oguntolu /Awe Crescent Aladiye roundabout engaged the eyesore busy commercial road, Shipeolu Drainage line clogged with sachet water waste, pet bottles and other nuisance down to Shipeolu/Sunday Street drain collector point turned deposit spot of the assorted brand of pet bottles.

The energetic youth were able to ensure sanity and sanitization was done timely by clearing and properly bagged the cleared waste for immediate carting and evacuation through the intervention of Nikeron Enterprises LTD, an assigned PSP on weekend schedule which was personally supervised by Imototo Ambassador Comrade, Oluwarotimi Oluyede regular support.

Comrade Oluwarotimi Oluyede, Special Adviser on Environment, however, showered encomium on Nikeron Enterprises for their timely support as a good partner in progress and a sustainable healthy environment.
Operationally, Nikeron Enterprises LTD and Richbol Environmental Services PSP Operators struggle so hard to secure the ward according to their working plan and schedule in order to restore sanity for the weekend.
Anuoluwapo Street, Market, Adurosakin/Apata Blackspot, Shuaib Salami, Shipeolu, Babayemi, Adedoyin, and Oguntolu enjoyed the weekend door to door waste collection services.
Meanwhile, Comrade Oluwarotimi Oluyede also offered a sincere apology on behalf of that PSP lagging behind due to unforeseen circumstances, technical and logistics particularly the good people of Orile Somolu Ward D and Okesun-Oluwalogbon Ward E where they experience service gaps and assured that all Areas and Streets shall be given priority deserved.
In the same vein, he calls on the State government and LAWMA to give speedy attention in resolving Challenges hindering Smooth accessibility, functional equipment, and return time cum supportive financing measures deserved to enhance the performance of PSP and the dumpsite at this critical time to sustain healthily and cleaner Lagos.
He enjoined residents and all stakeholders to keep faith with the government and PSP Operator assigned to each ward for improved Environmental Services delivery ensure waste are properly bagged, bill and payment are promptly attended to, shunning of cart pushers patronage are stopped, indiscriminate disposal of waste on the major road, street, drainage, gutters, canals, abandoned properties, underneath abandoned vehicles and unauthorized locations are discontinued particularly as we approach the early rainy season.
