The residents of Oke Odo in the Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA of Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State trooped out in their numbers to protest against the high tariffs given to them by the Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKEDC).
The protest which had the elderly, Youth, and teenagers in attendance was to show their rejection of the very crazy bills given to residents of the community.
Some of the residents who spoke with Political Platform 101, said the kind of bill they pay is even more than what they pay as house rent, they lamented that Ikeja Electric is taking undue advantage of the residents of Oke Odo community through estimated billings.
